It is the latest gadgetry at the Science Museum in London that is a real cool app for techno geeks to ponder over and wonder at what more the future will bring. This app is used by the Museum to provide a talking hologram to provide visitors with lectures of Museum objects.
Whilst the idea is not new, the exciting thing is that it is possible to duplicate this hologram anywhere else using the same apps and some special markers.

I wonder if it would be possible to integrate some of this app’s functionality with a remote controlled toy. Even if it can show a life-like person at the controls of a remote control car, boat or a plane.
In due time, I hope that there will other apps that provide more than a hologram. But for now, a talking James May will do just fine.
